Kiara Denise Mills, 25 of Rome, was jailed on a list of charges that include crimes such as drug distribution, gun possession reckless conduct and more.

Authorities said that Mills sold synthetic marijuana to an undercover informant at the Fairbridge Inn on Martha Berry Blvd back on August 12th and  13th.  They added that both drug deals occurred in front of  two minor children.

On August 20th, a search warrant was issued for her room at the hotel.  Officers stated that a search resulted in them finding a large quantity of synthetic marijuana, digital scales, and packaging materials.  She was also found with marijuana and a 9 mm handgun.

Police went on to added that a large amount of cash was located in a drawer next to the bed.  Her two minor children were also in the room.

Mills is charged with three counts reckless conduct, possession of drug related objects, possession of marijuana, possession of a schedule I controlled substance, possession of a schedule I controlled substance with intent to distribute, possession of a firearm during the commission felony, three counts possession of synthetic marijuana, and three counts possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute.
