Joseph Lee Alexander Costlow, 37 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he grabbed his female roommate by the neck and threw her to the ground. Reports added that once on the ground, Costlow began to hit her.
The incident occurred in their home on North Broad Street.
Costlow is charged with battery.
