Cynthia Kay Rendon, 50 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said she caused a wreck while under the influence of narcotics.
Reports added that the wreck occurred when she failed to maintain her lane of travel.
A search resulted in officers finding two and a half Xanax pills inside a cigarette pack.
She is charged with possession of a schedule IV controlled substance, drugs not in original container DUI and failure to maintain lane.
