Anthony Dewayne Hardin Jr, 29 of Rome, was arrested this week after police said he was found with drugs and a stolen firearm during a traffic stop at the intersection of West 4th and Tribune Street.
Reports said that after being stopped for driving on an expired tag he was found with a bag that contained a stolen firearm, less than an ounce of marijuana and rolling papers.
Officers added that an Id belonging to Hardin was also located in the bag.
He is charged with theft by receiving stolen property, possession of marijuana, possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime, possession of drug related objects, driving without insurance and operating a vehicle on an expired tag.
