Gregory Damon Hyde, 31 of Adairsville, was jailed in Rome this week after reports said he stole multiple vehicles over the span of two weeks back in 2019.
On September 7th, he is accused of taking another person to a home on Baker Street and allowed the other suspect, Brandon Garlin, to take a 1999 Ford Ranger. Hyde then allegedly followed Garlin in the stolen vehicle. A witness allegedly saw the event take place.
Police said that he was then seen on a security camera taking the vehicle from a home on Highway 140 back on September 25th.
Hyde is charged with two counts theft by taking a motor vehicle.
