Hayden Lee Tucker, 28 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he bit police while being taken into custody for being drunk in downtown Rome.
Police said that Tucker fought with four officers, biting one.
Tucker is charged with public drunk, criminal trespass, obstruction, simple assault on police and simple battery on a police officer.
