An inmate at the Floyd County Jail, Edwin Antonio Sequen, is facing additional charges after reports said he was found with a homemade knife in his cell.
Sequen is now charged with unauthorized possession of a firearm by an inmate.
He was being housed on a ICE warrant.

Sequen is now charged with aggravated battery.

Sequen was arrested this week after police said he choked a 31 year-old woman at her home on Brookstone Road.
Reports added that Sequen then proceeded to maliciously squeeze the hand of a 10 year-old child who witnessed the attack.
Sequen is charged with aggravated assault, 1st degree cruelty to children and 3rd degree cruelty to children.
