James Scotty Vinson, 31 of Rome, was arrested this week after a search at a home on Dwyatt Street led officers to find a large amount of a variety of drugs packaged for resale.
Reports said that during a probation compliance check officers located over 10 pounds of marijuana, multiple packages of hash oil, as well as numerous packages of THC.
Arrest warrants stated that Vinson conspired with Jon Knight, Robert Hull, Sharalee Hull and Mark Soiu for trafficking marijuana from a location in California to Floyd County
Vinson is charged with possession of a schedule I controlled substance, possession and distribution of marijuana, possession of a schedule I controlled substance with intent to distribute, violation of controlled substance act by trafficking marijuana and probation violation.
