Corun Jaron Sellars, 33 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he kicked a police officer in face.
Reports said that officers were dispatched to the Dollar General on North Broad Street where Sellars allegedly broke another’s windshield when he slapped it with an open hand.
When officers arrived, Sellars is accused of kicking him in the face. Reports added that the kick caused the officer’s glasses to break
Sellars is charged with simple battery against a police officer and criminal trespass.
