According to Floyd County Coroner Gene Proctor, a 13 year-old Coosa boy died from complications of COVID-19 Tuesday.
The death would be the youngest from Floyd County to have succumbed to the virus.
The exact cause of death listed is respiratory failure due to COVID19 infection.
The child was pronounced dead at 5:55 am.
