Allie Elizabeth Lowe, 21 of Rome, was arrested this week after she was accused of hitting a woman who was holding a small child.
Reports said that Lowe punched the woman in the face with a closed fist.
The incident occurred at the Winthrop Court Assisted Living center.
Lowe is charged with battery and cruelty to children.
