An inmate at the Floyd county Prison, Felix Tirado, 54, is facing additional charges after reports said that while working at the inmate release center he failed to return as scheduled.
Police stated that back on February 27th Tirado was scheduled to return to the center following his work release, but never appeared.
He is charged with escape.
Tirado was sentenced in 2015 on charges of robbery, burglary, theft, possession of meth and marijuana.
He was scheduled to be released in February 2022.
