A convicted sex offender, Melissa Ann Keeler, 43 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports stated she failed to register a new address within 72 hours after moving.
Reports stated that Keeler did not notify police that she moved from her home on 2005 Dean Avenue to 210 Wayside Road within the proper time frame.
Keeler was convicted of statutory rape in 2009.
Keeler is charged with failing to register as a sex offender.
