Henry Ronald Davidson Jr, 49 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he beat a woman in the face, causing bleeding and swelling.
Reports stated that Davidson proceeded to take the victims iPhone 11 and break it.
The incident occurred at a location on Jim Lee Drive.
Davidson is charged with battery and 2nd degree criminal damage to property.
