Charles Davon Goode, 36 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he had repeatedly tried to kill a woman.
Reports said that on March 15, 2021 Goode allegedly used a pair of scissors to stab the victim on the left forearm. He then proceeded to get a rope and attempted to strangle the victim to death. Reports added that Goode also got into the victim’s vehicle and crash it into another car, a utility trailer and a power poll.
Then on April 24, 2021 he is accused of hitting the woman in the head with a gun before threatening to kill her if she did not leave. He allegedly proceeded to lit a cigarette and burn her on her check.
Goode is charged with two counts aggravated assault, battery and criminal damage to property.
