Charles Lewis Brown, 47 of Cave Spring, was arrested on Broad Street in Rome after reports said officers conducted a search while being questioned about his “suspicious activity”.
Police stated that during a pat down at the corner of Broad and River Street they found a glass smoking device in his front pocket.
While being placed under arrest officers continued to find a baggie of methamphetamine in his other pocket.
Brown is charged with possession of methamphetamine and drug related objects
