William Randolph, 61 of Rome, was arrested after he allegedly bit his wife on the big toe during a domestic altercation at their home.
Rreports added that Randolph also took her cell phone in an attempt to prevent her from calling 911 for help. The victim also told police that Randolph broke her phone.
Randolph is charged with simple battery, Hindering a person from making an emergency call, and criminal trespass.
