Sylvester Junior Mcelrath, 43 of Fort Payne, AL was arrested in Rome this week after reports said that he was found in possession of a cartridge used for vaping that contained THC oil.
He was taken into custody at the intersection of Hwy 20 at Salem Drive.
Mcelrath is charged with possession of a schedule 1 controlled substance, unlawful manufacture, distribute, possess with intent to distribute imitation controlled substances, as well as purchase, possession, manufacture, distribution, or sale of marijuana.
