Billy Jack Rampley, 34 of Silver Creek, was arrested this week after reports said he lied to a judge while in court about a traffic stop.
Reports stated that Rampley, while under oath, told the judge that after being pulled over in October of 2019 and was charged with no proof of insurance, that he did have valid coverage. He then provided a false document showing that his insurance was in effect on the date in question.
Rampley is charged with first degree forgery, perjury and false swearing in connection to subversive activities.
