Patrick Clark McCluney, 51 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he kicked the front door to a home open without permission of the resident.
Reports added that the suspect and the victim once lived together.
The incident occurred on Iron Street.
McCluney is charged with first degree burglary and criminal trespass
