Joseph Lee Alexander Costlow, 37 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he slapped an older woman in the face during a dispute on Collier Road.
Reports said that the victim was struck on the left side of her face with the suspect’s right hand.
Costlow is charged with battery.
