On Wednesday, March 31, Calhoun Police charged 34-year-old Ralando Johnson of Gwinnett County Georgia In connection with a November 1, 2020, armed robbery.

Officers were called to The Dollar Tree located at 122 WC Bryant Parkway to investigate an armed robbery.

Officers arrived and were told the suspect had brandished a handgun while demanding money.

The witness further stated the suspect had threatened to shoot store employees if they did not comply with his demands.

Detectives arrived and processed the scene and launched an investigation into the robbery and were subsequently able to gather tangible evidence to tie Johnson to the armed robbery of The Dollar Tree in Calhoun.

Johnson faces charges of Armed Robbery (Felony), Aggravated Assault (Felony), and False Imprisonment (Felony).

Johnson is suspected of numerous armed robberies across Georgia and Tennessee.

Johnson remains in custody with bond proceedings pending.
