Michael Lee Sargent Sr, 46 of Silver Creek, was arrested this week after reports said he was found with a stolen Honda Shadow motorcycle.
Police said that Sargent told them that he had gotten the motorcycle from his cousin. However, it belonged to a 70 year-old Fitzgerald man.
He was taken into custody at his home on Pleasant Valley Road.
Sargent is charged with theft by receiving stolen property.
