Rome Man Found with Large Assortment of Drugs

Roderick Maurice Chambers, 40 of Rome, was arrested at Roy’s Little Garden after police found an assortment of drugs in his vehicle during a search.

Reports said that Chambers was found with methamphetamine, marijuana, cocaine, ecstasy, and THC oil all in individual packaging that appeared to be for resale.

Chambers is charged with possession of meth, possession of cocaine, possession of a schedule I controlled substance, possession or distribution of THC oil, possession of a schedule I controlled substance with intent to distribute, possession of marijuana and two counts probation violation.

Roderick Maurice Chambers, 39 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he beat a female in the face with his fist.

Police stated that Chambers used a closed fist to repeatedly hit the victim’s face.  They added that the woman suffered visible swelling to her forehead, and redness on the right side of her face and scratches to her neck.

Chambers is charged with battery.
