Christopher Lloyd Rhoten, 30 of Rome, was arrested this week after he allegedly repeatedly slapped a woman on the head before grabbing and breaking her cellphone.
Police went on to say that Rhoten then proceeded to threaten to kill the woman and her children while holding his hand like a gun.
While police was searching for him he allegedly attempted to hide from them under a bed at a home on Superba Avenue.
Rhoten is charged with battery, criminal trespass, terroristic threats, obstruction and failure to appear.
