Hunter Matthew Deems, 18 of Rome, was arrested at Pepperell High School this week after reports said he repeatedly hit a 16 year-old male during a verbal confrontation.
Reports added that the incident occurred just before 10 am Wednesday.
Deems is charged with battery.
