Andre Larence Jones, 55 of Palmetto, and Rodney Jerome Thornton, 52 of LaGrange, were arrested in Rome after violating rules of fire safety.
Reports said that Thornton intentionally installed d a commercial hood system without regard to the National Fire Protection Association Standard for ventilation control.
Police added that Jones is accused of installing a 300 PyroChem system without conducting acceptance test. He is then accused of marking the system with a validating tag certifying the system and marking the tag incorrectly.
Both incidents occurred at a restaurant on Everett Springs Road.
Jones is charged with improperly installing a fire suppression system.
Thornton is charged with violation of fire regulations.
