Ericka Careathers, 36 of Cave Spring, was arrested this week after reports said found her husband and his lover at a home on Mill Street.
Reports said that after breaking a window to their home she proceeded to get a kitchen knife and attack her husband.
Police added that the man was cut during the altercation.
Careathers is charged with aggravated assault, simple battery and criminal trespass.
