Mark Euphene Evans, 44 of Armuchee, was arrested in Silver Creek this week after reports said he threatened harm to another when he used vulgar and profane language before balling his fist and lunged at him.
When officers arrived, they stated that Evans resisted being placed in handcuffs.
He is charged with simple assault and obstruction.
