A convicted felon, Monterica Larance Cook, of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he was found illegally in possession of a firearm.
Police said that he was at the Hop and Shop on Calhoun Avenue with the gun at the time of her arrest.
Cook is charged with possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
