A 25 year-old Calhoun man, Larry Dale McCullough III, was jailed in Rome this week after reports said he used “corporal punishment” to disciple a small child.
Reports said that McCullough struck the child multiple times, leaving bruises in the process.
Police added that the victim suffered mental and physical pain and is now scared of the suspect.
McCullough is charged with second degree cruelty to children.
