Traffic Stop Leads to Meth Arrest

Andre Dewayne Evans, 37 of Rome, was arrested this week after a traffic stop led police to find methamphetamine.

Reports said that Evans was driving on a suspended license when he was stopped on Park Avenue at South 1^st Street.  A search led authorities to allegedly find methamphetamine on him.

Evans is charged with possession of meth and driving on a suspended license.
