Howard Dennis Eason, 71 of Silver Creek, was arrested this week after he allegedly stole property from a man at the intersection of 2nd Avenue and Riverbend.
Reports did not indicate what was stolen but did state that its value was less than $1,500.
Eason is charged with theft by taking.
