Frederick Sinclair Decoster, 60 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he seriously injured a 63 year-old woman during an altercation at their home on Clearvue Circle.
Reports said that Decoster maliciously attacked the woman, which left her middle finger severely injured. Reports added that the middle finger was left bleeding with the bone exposed.
Decoster is charged with aggravated battery.
