Terry Lynn Coots, 59 of Rome, was jailed this week after reports said he hit a woman in the head with a foreign object.
Reports added that Coots attacked resulted in a large cut to the victim’s forehead.
The incident occurred at a home on Wilkerson Road back in October of last year.
Coots is charged with aggravated assault and battery.
