Michael Eli Hubbard, 22 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he elbowed his girlfriend in the face during an altercation at a home on Cedartown Highway.
Reports said that the altercation began when Hubbard attempted to take the victim’s cellphone and began to yell and curse in a loud manner.
The victim suffered injuries to her lip and right shoulder as the result of the attack.
Hubbard is charged with battery and disorderly conduct.
