Levi Travis Robinson, 18 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he became intoxicated and then attacked his mother at her home on Crosscreek Drive.
Reports said that Robinson shoved his mother into a refrigerator and a table causing injuries to her hand and hip.
The incident occurred in front of a 6 and 9 year-old child.
Robinson is charged with two battery, two counts cruelty to children in the third degree, criminal trespass and underage possession of alcohol.
