Dalton Lee Godfrey, 29 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he assaulted and robbed another man at a location on Fire Tower Road.
Reports said that Godfrey and a co-perpetrator struck another man numerous times before stealing his cell phone, air pods and $80 in cash.
Police went on to state that the co-perpetrator, Joshua Danford, was in possession of a handgun at the time of the robbery. Danford is still being sough by police.
The incident occurred back on January 22 of this year.
Godfrey is charged with strong arm robbery, aggravated assault and parole violation.
