Cody Jackson Lamkin, 42 of Rome, was arrested this week after a routine traffic stop led police to allegedly locate a bag of drugs.
Reports said that Lamkin was stopped on Turner McCall at Riverside Parkway for driving with an expired tag. When he was asked to step out of the vehicle, officers said that they observed a bag of suspected Oxycodone inside the vehicle.
Lamkin is charged with two counts possession of a schedule II controlled substance, operation of a vehicle without a validation decal, drugs not in original container, probation violation.
