James Carl Hackett II, 34 of Cedar Bluff, was arrested in Rome this week after reports said he was found in possession of a bag of methamphetamine and a meth pipe.
Reports stated that the pipe was located in his pants and that he admitted that the drugs belonged to him.
He was taken into custody at the intersection of SR 20 and Intervale Road.
Hackett is charged with possession of meth and drug related objects.
