Christopher Colton Floyd, 30 of Adairsville, was jailed in Rome this week after he was found DUI and in possession of numerous drugs when he was stopped for driving in the median of Highway 411 approaching Loop 1.

Reports said that after pulling over officers “detected a strong odor of marijuana” coming from his vehicle.   A marijuana cigarette was located in the floorboard of the vehicle.   A search also led police to find four blue pills inside the vehicle.

Floyd is charged with possession of marijuana, possession of a schedule IV controlled substance, DUI and failure to maintain lane.
