Doyle Eugene Tant Sr, 44 of Rome, was arrested after police said they found him staggering and swaying his arms in the middle of Old Dalton Road at Glen View Drive.
Reports added that Tant also attempted to gain entry into passerby’s cars.
It was determined that Tant was under the influence of some type of substance.
Tant is charged with pedestrian under the influence of alcohol, loitering and probation violation.
