Douglas Thomas O’Conner, 28 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he was found with meth and a stolen vehicle during a traffic stop on Maple Road.

Reports stated that after being stopped for not wearing a seat belt it was discovered that O’Conner was driving a stolen car.  A search of the vechile then led police to allegedly find methamphetamine.

O’Conner is charged with possession of meth, possession of drug related objects, theft by receiving stolen property, concealing the identity of a vehicle, a seat belt violation, cracked windshield and driving without insurance.
