Thomas Euell Malone, 32 of Rome, was arrested this week after violating a court order to stay away from a woman.
Reports said that Malone went to see the victim at a home on Sycamore Street when she called police for help.
When officers arrived they stated that Malone refused to cooperate and resisted arrest while they were attempting to handcuff him.
The incidnet occurred in front of two small children.
Malone is charged with aggravated stalking, three counts obstruction and two counts cruelty to children.

Thomas Euell Malone, 32 of Rome, was arrested in Rome this week after reports said he poured a beer over the head of a woman during an altercation his home on South Sycamore Street. Reports added that he proceeded to shove the woman down stairs.
Malone then allegedly then called a 10 year-old child a “punk @$$ fa**ot”.
Malone proceeded to grab a picture frame and glasses from the victim and break them.
Malone is charged with simple battery, criminal trespass and cruelty to children.
