Brice Wade Crider, 32 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he caused physical harm to a woman he had been previously attacked and been banned from having any contact with.

Reports added that Crider also allegedly broke her phone in an effort to prevent her from dialing 911 for help.

Crider is charged with simple battery, criminal trespass, obstruction of a person making a 911 call, and violation of a family protection order.

Brice Wade Crider, 32 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he grabbed a woman by the throat and shoved her against the wall, leaving red marks on her neck.

Reports added that Crider proceeded to take the woman’s cellphone to prevent her from dialing 911 for help.

Crider is charged with simple battery and obstruction of a person making a 911 call.
