Two Romans, Tony Dewayne Sullivan Jr, 35, and Clarice Marie Roberts, 40 of Rome, were arrested at the Relax Inn on Martha Berry Blvd after they were found trafficking cocaine out of room 201.
Reports said that the drugs were found during the execution of a search warrant. During the search officers said that they recovered a large amount of cocaine, marijuana, baggies and a digital scale.
Officers added that Sullivan was observed attempting to flush the cocaine down a sink.
Both are charged with possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to distribute, trafficking cocaine, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug related objects.
Sullivan is additionally charged with obstruction and tampering with evidence.
