Timothy Lamar Turner, 26 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he led police on a high speed chase.
Reports said that officers attempted a traffic stop and instead of pulling over Turner fled at a high rate of speed. During the chase, officers reported that Turner placed numerous people in danger as he drove in a reckless manner, ignoring stop signs.
He eventually pulled over and was taken into custody.
Turner is charged with two counts stop sign violation, reckless driving, attempting to elude police and driving in violation of a license class.
