Mibzar Maquito Perez, 20 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he stole a car and was involved in a hit and run near Walker Mountain Store.
Reports said that Perez was involved in a traffic accident and when he got out of his vehicle he began to attempt to fight other motorist.
After officers arrived on scene he refused to cooperate and jumped into another’s vehicle and fled. It was then Perez got into another accident with two other vehicles near Sanders Street.
When the arrived got out of the patrol car Perez began to threaten to kill him. Perez was then taken into custody without any further incident.
He is charged with theft by taking a motor vehicle, terroristic threats and acts, disorderly conduct, hit and run, DUI and driving without a license.
