Carlos Demond Woodard, 31 of Rome, was arrested this week after reports said he injured a police officer while they were in pursuit.
Police stated that while attempting to question Woodard he fled on foot near East14th and Dean Avenue. During the foot chase Woodard is accused of pulling an officer over a fence resulting in him sustaining an injury.
Woodard is charged with felony obstruction, misdemeanor obstruction, three counts contempt of superior court, and probation violation.
