Heather Leighann Mclemore, 44 of Rome, was arrested this week after a road check allegdly led deputies to find a large amount of drugs in her vehicle.
Reports stated that while being stopped a K9 deputy alerted on Mclemore’s car. A search then resulted in authorities locating two glass smoking devices, three bags of methamphetamine, and numerous non prescribed prescription pills that were not in their original container.
Mclemore is charged with possession of meth, possession of meth with intent to distribute, possession of a schedule IV controlled substance, possession of drug related objects, drugs not in original container and probation violation.
